Faux water marble

I was perusing a CVS the other day and came across a display for Pop-arazzi nail polish. I've eyeballed their polishes every time I've been in CVS but I never grabbed any up. But this time, I decided to grab a couple. 

One of these is a gorgeous rose gold color and I had decided that I wanted to water marble with it. But it wouldn't work. So I thought I would fake a water marble with some drag marbling.

Christmas Dotticure

I've decided that this year that I would do 12 days of Christmas nail art designs. I know everyone does Christmas designs throughout December but a month of it is too much for me. 12 days seems like plenty, right?

31DC2016 Day 8 - Metallic Nails

I was especially excited for today's prompt because I planned on using one of my new Julep polishes. This month's Maven box was their fifth anniversary box and it came with three STUNNING polishes! One of them just happens to be a metallic or, as Julep describes it, a "red rock chrome."

It's blue nails day. I was pretty excited for today's prompt. I've always loved wearing blue nail polish; even when I was growing up, that was one of my favorite nail polish colors.

Just a Quickie : Metallic Waterfall

Metallic Ruffian

This design is something I actually did a little while before Halloween. I wanted to squeeze in plenty of festive manicures, though, so I'll just put this up now. 

I wanted to do something simple and a little bit elegant. It took me a long time to find the appeal in a ruffian mani but now I love them. I think they are just stunning when done in just the right colors. This is one of those cases, in my opinion. 

Simple Fall Stripes

The weather, here in Michigan, has been delightfully Autumnal over the last few days. It's the type of weather that makes you want to curl up with a giant mug of coffee and a soft blanket. It's also put me in the mood for darker, bolder nail polish colors. I have several colors that make me think of Fall but when I sat down to do my nails, I knew exactly which color I wanted to use.

31DC2015 Day 15 - Delicate Print

Whenever I get to the delicate print prompt in the 31 Day Challenge, I automatically think of stamping. My mind instantly goes over all of the stamping plates that have pretty, delicate prints or patterns that would be perfect. This year was no different. And you know what? I have no problem stamping out a manicure for the challenge. I actually knew exactly which plate I was going to use, too, and it took me about two minutes to pick my polish colors.

31DC2015 Day 8 - Metallic Nails

It's day eight of the 31 day challenge and the prompt is metallic nails. Initially, I was going to play around with some foils but none of them called out to me so I went a different route.

Pink, Glitter, and a Little Metal

I'm still playing around with all of my new polishes and trying to come up with some fun color combinations. Luckily, glitter goes with everything. Especially multi-colored glitter! 

Multichrome, Waterfall, and Stamping

One of my favorite polishes, currently, is ILNP Birefringence. It's an Ultrachrome with a wide range of color changes and it's just lovely. I was trying to come up with some fun nail art to do including Birefringence but I didn't want to cover it up with anything. So I thought of some other designs to put alongside it in corresponding colors.

Simple Gradient Stamping

Along with all of the new nail polishes I've gotten this month, I also got a new set of stamping plates (my first Pueen set) and new stampers. So I have a fun gradient stamped design to share using them and some of my new polishes!

Matching Nautical Nails

It had been far too long since I had done my best friend, Heather's, nails. So we got together for a little mani time yesterday. Now, I love Heather but she's a bit indecisive. (If you're reading this, love, know that I mean that in the nicest way.) ;) While she was pondering on what she wanted me to do, I took the reins. She had picked out a gold and a blue and I know she has a love for the nautical. I picked a few more colors and went to town. Well, I ended up loving the design so much that I did the exact same thing with my nails! So we matched!
