Double Stamped

It struck me today that I haven't done any stamping in such a long time. I'm not sure why. I love stamping. It's frustrating and I'm not terribly good at it, but it's still fun. So, to make up for it, I thought I'd do some stamped nail art today. For a fun twist, I decided to stamp the same design on each nail...twice!

Bright & Springy

I felt extra girly today. I took a little extra time on my makeup, left my hair a little curly and wore a big flower in it, and wore my flirtiest earrings (which perfectly matched the cute turquoise top I wore). So, when it came time to do my nails, I wanted something just as girly. And since it's an absolutely GORGEOUS day, I wanted something floral. As it just so happens, I picked up a pack of nail art decals the other day at the grocery store and one of the designs in it were the perfect flowers for what I had in mind.

Summer Stars

Once again, my fingers have been inspired by my toes! I originally had a completely different design in mind for my fingers but I loved my pedi so much that I just had to recreate it as a mani to share!

Dry Marble Waterfall

I have been in love with waterfall manis ever since I saw Sammy over at The Nailasaurus do them. I've tried my hand at it a few times (here and here) but they have never looked as good as here. No matter how thin of a nail art brush I use, I can never get the lines thin enough. I guess I just don't have a light enough touch.

Well, I thought I would do some dry marbling but I wanted to do something other than just swirling a few colors together. Thus, I have come up with the perfect solution to my waterfall woes!

Sparkly Funky French

Sometimes, you're in the mood for a classic. Sometimes, you're also in the mood for something funky. And you are almost always in the mood for sparkles! Right? Maybe it's just me. Those are the moods that struck me when I created this mani. Luckily, I was also in a hurry so this was a breeze to come up with AND to execute!

Corgi Love

Ever since I got my new puppy, Oswin, I've been a little obsessed. He's just so darn cute! I have taken a million photos and videos and I show them off to anyone who will let me. I just can't help it!

Call me biased, but I think Corgis are just the cutest dogs ever. With their short little legs and their giant ears...and don't even get me started on their butts. If you aren't familiar with them, do a Google image search for Corgi butts and be prepared to squee. Ugh, they're just PRECIOUS!!!

Well, what better way is there to express my obsession with Corgis than with my obsession with nail art?

Pretty Stripes

Have you ever had one of those days that just goes so poorly that you know the rest of the week is just going to suck? So have I. But today was not one of those days. Today was a great day. As a matter of fact, yesterday was great, too! I know this is going to be a good week!

I've recently decided to stop letting unimportant people in my life dictate my mood and feelings. Since then, I've been much happier. When I'm not worried about those people, I can focus more on the things that really matter!

My two good days in a row put me in the mood for a fun, girly, sparkly manicure. I couldn't decide on just one girly polish, so I chose three!

Just a Quickie: Pretty Striping Tape

Julep Kam & Julep Adele

For Tracy

One of my favorite things about my marriage is my relationship with my in-laws. I'm glad that I married into a family that I get along with so well. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite people in the whole world is my sister-in-law, Tracy.

When she and her husband lived in Michigan I would go to her place and we would sit around and literally do nothing for hours and it was such a great time. I have always been completely comfortable around her and my friendship with her, and her husband, is one I will always treasure. The day that they moved to Nebraska was so sad for us because our closest friends were now living 12 hours away.

I've really been missing Tracy lately so I thought I would do some nail art inspired by her. Everyone who knows Tracy knows about her love of frogs. They are pretty awesome, to be honest. And fittingly enough, her favorite color is green! How perfect for a frog inspired manicure?

Fun With A Striping Brush

I knew exactly where I was headed going into this manicure. I just didn't know what to call it. I still don't, for that matter. I did know, however, what colors I wanted to use and that I needed a striping brush...

Neon Dry Marble

I've been eyeing my neon polishes for a few days now. I used them a little bit during the winter months to break up the monotony of dark colors but now that it's spring, it's time to put them in the forefront. I was trying to think of something I hadn't yet done with my neons. Dry marbling came to mind. I may be wrong, but I don't think I've ever done an all neon dry marble before. I'm so glad I thought of it, though...

Pretty X

I have a collection of nail decals that I have had for months without using yet. Every time I go to use them, I go in another direction with my nail design. That happened today. One set of the decals is an assortment of gold designs; skulls, lightning, etc. I decided to use them and chose coral and gold (my favorite color combo including gold) with a black accent (to make the decals pop) as my color scheme.

Gone Fishin'

A well known fact about hubby is that he is a big outdoors-man. He loves all things related to the outdoors. This time of year his thing is fishing. Tomorrow he is going on a fishing trip and he's giddy with excitement. Wait, burly men like him don't get giddy, do they? He's excited in a manly-man way. Ha ha! Well, a while back I promised him that I would do some fishing inspired nail art and I thought that this was the perfect time! So, I had him grab his fishing lures (which, by the way, he has tons of) and picked a few that inspired me.
