31DC2013 Day 17 - Glitter
I actually DID do these nails yesterday. I just didn't get to post them until today.
I was excited for this day of the challenge because I LOVE glitter! I have a decently large glitter collection from the craft store so I thought I'd use a bunch of them to do a sparkly skittles mani!
I used glue as a base coat to make the glitter easy to remove. Once the glue dried, I used Seche Vite to get the glitter to stick. I did one coat of Seche Vite over top to secure the glitter together. The glitter drinks the top coat so, if you want a smooth finish, you'll need several coats. I like it rougher, though, because it has the finish of a textured polish!
