Color Blocked French

I got a polish from Julep the other day that I was not sure about. It's called Kennedy. In the bottle, it looks like a dusty yellowish-beige. Hubby and I couldn't tell what kind of color it was supposed to be. I looked it up and Julep calls it a khaki cream. I didn't like it. Then, the other day, I decided to give it a try. I didn't want to commit to it, though, so I thought I'd use it as an accent color in a design.

I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons for the base. Using striping tape, I taped diagonal french tips and, within that, smaller geometric sections. I pained those sections in Julep Kennedy and Salon Perfect Dirty Martini. I love this. I think I like Kennedy, after all...
