Born Pretty Review

Time for another Born Pretty Store product review! Wahoo! :) This time around, I'm reviewing some fun nail vinyls!

*I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

These nail vinyls come in 6 patterns (which is technically 12 because each sheet comes with 2 patterns each) and you can find them here! They work just like other nail vinyls; after you've painted your nails with your base color and it's completely dried, place the vinyls onto your nails. Making sure that the vinyls are completely stuck to your nails, paint over them with your second color, then remove the vinyls.

As you can see, I used the striped pattern on my middle finger. But first, let's talk about the polishes I used. I started with Sally Hansen on my middle and ring fingers. The second color on my ring finger and the color on my thumb is Julep Avni and let me just say that this color is WAAAY closer to a royal purple than the blurple that it photographed as. Lastly, the glitter on my pinky and index finger is Finger Paints Laugh My Art Off.

Now, let's talk about the vinyl. I didn't notice until I used them that the vinyls are attached to each other. Just to be safe and not tear or stretch them, I cut them apart. I found that the vinyls are very sticky so they stick to the nail well. But, because of the curve of the nail, I did have issues with them sticking to the edges of my nails, especially near the cuticles. To try to remedy this, I snipped the edges of the vinyl to make them a bit more flexible. I did have a little bit of bleeding near the cuticle but, overall, the vinyl worked well.

Each sheet, as I said, comes with two patters. Unfortunately, you only get six of each pattern. So, if you want to do a full manicure with one pattern you'd have to purchase more than one sheet.

You can find these nail vinyls and tons of other great nail art products at Bornprettystore.com and use my coupon code, VWL91, for 10% off!
