Independence Day Nails

Happy Independence Day America!!! It's the 4th of July and, here in the U.S., that means birthday celebrations for our country! Drinking, cookouts, and (most people's favorite) FIREWORKS! Our city did their big fireworks show a little over a week ago but people have already been setting them off themselves and it isn't even dark outside yet!

Naturally, I can't miss out on sharing some patriotic and sparkly nails!

The striped nails are done with striping tape and Sally Hansen Hard to Get and Sally Hansen Rapid Red. My index finger has a base of Cult Nails Time Traveler and the stars are some nail stickers I found in my stash. The glitter on the rest of my nails is Julep America. America is just gorgeous; chock-full of red micro glitters, blue and silver medium hex glitters, and a few silver star glitters. The clear base is thick so you get good coverage in two coats and opacity in three coats. Like many of Julep's glitters, it can be a bit goopy and a little tricky to manage but it's worth it!

Have a safe holiday everyone!
