Fall Waterfall
The weather here in Michigan has been amazing lately. It's been cool (most days, anyway), a little rainy here and there, and the leaves are all the most beautiful shades of gold, red, and orange. Fall is, by far, my favorite season! It has really put me in the mood for some pretty fall nail art.

Neon Waterfall
I was hanging out with my amazing sister-in-law the other day. She lives out of state and we don't get to see each other all that much. We watched movies, and I did her nails. I really do just adore that woman! It's always such a treat to see her!
After I did her nails, I wanted to do mine. I didn't want to spend too long doing them so I knew right away I wanted to do a super-quick waterfall design. I just had to pick a color to start with! Well, Tracy made that decision for me. :)

Multichrome, Waterfall, and Stamping
One of my favorite polishes, currently, is ILNP Birefringence. It's an Ultrachrome with a wide range of color changes and it's just lovely. I was trying to come up with some fun nail art to do including Birefringence but I didn't want to cover it up with anything. So I thought of some other designs to put alongside it in corresponding colors.

Matching Nautical Nails
It had been far too long since I had done my best friend, Heather's, nails. So we got together for a little mani time yesterday. Now, I love Heather but she's a bit indecisive. (If you're reading this, love, know that I mean that in the nicest way.) ;) While she was pondering on what she wanted me to do, I took the reins. She had picked out a gold and a blue and I know she has a love for the nautical. I picked a few more colors and went to town. Well, I ended up loving the design so much that I did the exact same thing with my nails! So we matched!

Dry Marble Waterfall
I have been in love with waterfall manis ever since I saw Sammy over at The Nailasaurus do them. I've tried my hand at it a few times (here and here) but they have never looked as good as here. No matter how thin of a nail art brush I use, I can never get the lines thin enough. I guess I just don't have a light enough touch.
Well, I thought I would do some dry marbling but I wanted to do something other than just swirling a few colors together. Thus, I have come up with the perfect solution to my waterfall woes!

Wintery Waterfall
I love snow! And it is snowing! It's been snowing since yesterday. If you live near the Great Lakes or in the Northeast, you know. Some of you have gotten a couple inches and some of you have gotten a few inches. If you're lucky, like us, you're getting inches in the teens!
Yay!
This morning, hubby and I spent some time outside. At first, it was just to shovel the walk and driveway but we ended up playing in the snow. This included hubby throwing me into the snow; I took him down with me, though, so it was fine. I wanted to make a snowman (which hubby thinks is silly) but the snow was just too powdery. Maybe later this week!
On to my nails...
I wanted to do something frosty looking in honor of all this snowfall and I love what I came up with!

31DC2013 Day 4 - Green Nails
I had quite a bit of trouble coming up with something to with this prompt. I don't have a whole lot of green nail polishes to choose from. Then, I remembered that I recently got a new green, ULTA Envy.
I've been loving the waterfall nail art that Sammy at The Nailasaurus has been creating lately so that was my inspiration.
