31DC2016 Day 21 - Inspired by a Color

As per usual for me during the 31 Day Challenge, when it comes to the inspired by a color prompt, I like to choose a nail polish and use the name as inspiration. I actually knew right away what polish I wanted to use.

The base color and my inspiration is Formula X Extraterrestrial. So I made cute little alien faces. As you can see, Extraterrestrial is a textured polish; it's a blackened olive with gold glitter. At first I thought about top coating to smooth out the finish but I like the textured alien skin. I did the details with Kiss Nail Art Paint in black.
