Born Pretty Review

Today is a double-post day and this second post is another Born Pretty product review.

*Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

These funky studs are another selection from Born Pretty's nail art products. They're a lot of fun and very different. There are six color combinations to choose from; pink/black, light blue/bronze, white/black, gold/black, green/black, and red/black. The patterns range from crackle to splatter to animal print styles. Each color combination comes in 3mmx3mm square and round.

I chose to work with the pink/black squares. The pattern was more like a splatter so that's where I went with my design.

I chose a pink (the name of which I just can't seem to remember) to match the studs, Sally Hansen Black Heart, and Sally Hansen Celeb City to create this design. I used Celeb City as the base color on my pinky, middle finger, and thumb. Black Heart is the base on my ring finger and the pink on my index finger. On my middle finger, I used a wax pencil to place the studs down the center of my nail into the wet polish and sealed them with topcoat. I did a splatter on the rest of the nails using a drinking straw and all three of the nail colors.

The studs are easy to use and they lay nice and flat on the nail which makes a design nice and long lasting. The only negative would be that a few of the studs aren't consistent in color; they are a little bit darker or lighter than the rest. Overall, they're great and unique. I can see them getting a lot of usage, for sure! If you'd like to buy these or anything else from Born Pretty Store, don't forget to use my coupon code (VWL91) for 10% off!
