Splatter Nails

Are there certain types of nail art that you avoid for one reason or another. One of my favorite nail art techniques is splatter nails but I usually talk myself out of it because of the mess. It's such a cool and unique effect but it is SUCH a mess. But I love it too much so I had to give in and do one. 

I used Color Club Hot Like Lava for the base color. The white is Julep Brigitte and the black is Wet n Wild Black Creme. I thought about throwing another color into the mix but I really like these three alone together. 

Liquid latex helped quite a bit with the cleanup on my fingers; I loaded up quite a bit. My nail art mat was quite a mess, though. But a lint roller made easy work of that. :)
