Born Pretty Review

Today I have another Born Pretty Store product review to share with you. I'm really excited about this one...

*Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted this stamping plate. You can check it out here! I'm just really digging the swirly-twirlyness of it! When I I received it, I just couldn't wait to try it out! Just looking at it the etching looked very clean and even, so I had high hopes.

Let's just say that I was NOT disappointed!

I thought about doing something fancy like stamping over some marbling or maybe gradient stamping. I wanted to highlight the stamp itself, though, so I went with some simple, straightforward stamping. I used Julep Aurora as the base color and did the stamping with Kleancolor Metallic Red. (I used those two colors to do gradients on my pinky and thumb.)

I'll start by saying that this stamped like a dream! The designs transferred so cleanly and there weren't any imperfections that I could notice. Another thing I love is the versatility. There is an almost endless number of designs you can get depending on where you decide to stamp from.

The edges are a little sharp but you'll find that with just about any stamping plate. The only negative (and it really isn't THAT big a deal) is that, since the plate is just a tad larger than most, it just barely fits in my stamping plate book and with the sharpish corners, I'm afraid it may tear the plastic holders. So, for the time being, it's loose in the book.

I think that this is a great addition to my stamping plate collection. If you want to check out some of their other stamping plates or nail art supplies, you can find theme here. And if you decide to order anything, don't forget to use my coupon code, VWL91, for 10% off of all regular priced items!
